Adagatiya

Adagatiya is a young community in central Portugal.
Being just at the beginning of this path everything around here is very basic. So we going to need people that are exited about pioneering and can live very minimalistic. At the moment we are working on water retention-landscaping, reafforestation, permaculture gardening and eco-construction.
We are also home schooling our children, make music and various crafts.

Interessted in volunteering?

Please note that we are a child based community and as such want to provide for a smoke and drug free environment!
We do also ask to not bring dogs along since we already share our space with four of them which is not without difficulties.

What to bring:
-Tent, sleeping bag, head light and rain proof/ clothes (except for the summer ;) )

What's going on right now:
-Summer 2017: Regardless if you have previous experience with any natural building or if you are just very motivated to learn, join our group effort to create some beautiful structures this summer working with clay, straw, stone and timber. There are several projects to be done, like the closing up of our communal round house or the transformation of old ruins into living space.

We have English, German, Polish and Portuguese speakers around. So choose the language of your preference. :)
