BYX promotes nautical sailing activities that show the city from the river Tagus, giving particular attention to its charismatic monuments located by the riverside, from Lisbon to the Cascais Bay. We provide unique experiences.

Our Sailing activities are divided into three categories: Tours, Workshops and Regattas.
The meeting and boarding points are in situated in the Dock of Belém, next to the square of the Monument of the Discoveries, as shown in the image below.

Thematic Tours: these tours are of a more romantic nature and take special advantage of the exceptional natural beauty that surrounds the city of Lisbon.
All thematic tours include a drink per person.

Tailored Tours: these tours allow guests to freely explore the Tagus basin and its iconic monuments, as they choose the course of the tour and its duration themselves.

Touristic Tours: Include two types of tours where the guests can explore the historic sites of the Lisbon riverside and the Tagus south bank, which were of particular importance during the Portuguese Age of Discoveries.

Gastronomical Tours: Include also two types of tours. In one of the tours the guests can enjoy the landscape upriver from Terreiro do Paço to the fantastic Seixal Bay and also enjoy a meal in a typical local restaurant. In the other tour, the guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the unforgettable Lisbon sunset and will be also able to enjoy a meal in a restaurant in the Dock of Alcântara. After dinner, the return to the Belém Docks will be made having the lights of Lisbon as a beautiful backdrop.

Tour Lezirias do Tejo: These tours have a duration of 3 hours and take place 20 km away from Lisbon, on-board a typical boat of the Tagus river. During the tour the guests can see the more rural side of the Lisbon area: Lezírias Ribatejanas. Grazing animals, horses and even pink flamingos constitute the fauna that dominates the banks of the river and islets. This tour is aimed at groups of a maximum of 35 people and can be offered with or without catering.

Romantic Tours (2 People): On these romantic 2 hour Tours the guests can watch the sunset, one of the natural wonders that Lisbon has to offer, while enjoying a bottle of sparkling wine in a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. At the end of the tour, the guests can enjoy a lovely dinner and spend the night on-board
Lisbon group tours: In all the tours that take place in Lisbon the number of people can be increased to up to 36 people, which will be distributed by 3 different boats. The price for this type of activity is made upon request for quotation.

Sailing Baptisms / Workshops: these activities provide the best way to make contact with this sport without major financial or time investment, and the guest can get to know the boat and the instructor. Over 3 hours the guest will make first contact with the craft, learning the basic concepts of sailing, hoisting and dropping sails, navigate and manoeuvre the vessel. Participants will receive a diploma of completion of Baptism /Workshop that provides a 15% discount in the Beginner sailing course.

Regatta: team spirit, competitiveness and fun are the main ingredients of the Regattas we participate in. Led by a certified and experienced skipper, we provide a racing day full of emotions and personal experiences.
