Checkbook

The original idea behind Checkbook was to provide a service to English speaking foreigners living in Ulsan. There is not a great selection of non-academic books in our city. The general idea was to buy to buy books from folks who were leaving Korea, and then make them available to newcomers.

We operate a "Sale & Buy Back" system. The customer buys the book and if they wish they may keep it. However, when they are finished with the book we will buy it back at a pre-determined price. (Assuming the book is in the same condition as at time of purchase.) We also have around 300 DVDs which can be purchased in the same way.

Checkbook has now relocated to Faro, where we hope to continue to provide the same services to visitors to the Algarve.
