Churchill's Port

In a sector surrounded by century-old players, Churchill’s in its 34 years has distinguished itself for its exclusive wines with a unique identity.

It was that identity, with a unique and individual style, that John Graham wanted to bring to Port wine when he founded the Company in 1981.

Buying Quinta da Gricha in 1999 was an important step to secure top quality grapes and to bring Churchill’s into the production of Douro wines, becoming a special case of success.

Being only 34 years old in a sector composed of century-old competitors “gives us the right” to confront this business with some irreverence and to make some bolder claims.

On the wines, the more elegant and less sweet wines are our identity.

The Pop-Up Bar we opened in London, as well as the Sense the Taste experience - www.sensethetaste.com, are just two references to our unique and innovative way to promote Port and Douro wines.
