Companhia Do Chapitô

Companhia do Chapitô was formed in 1996 in Lisbon, Portugal. Drawing from a wide variety of influences and techniques, the company has developed a style of visual comedy that reaches out to a universal audience. Working as an ensemble, the company produce their ideas though play and improvisation, exploring and experimenting in order to find new ways of creating theatre. The company has produced numerous pieces that have toured throughout Portugal and other European countries, as well as Cape Verde, South America, the Middle East and the Far East.
