Hub New Lisbon Hostel

Hub New Lisbon is the first hostel of the “Hub Hostels” brand and has 162 brand spanking new beds just waiting for your arrival!
Close to the bohemian Bairro Alto and Príncipe Real (like our own Soho), you get to be walking distance to streets without car traffic and full of locals restaurants, cool bars, hip clubs, eclectic shops, rare gardens and a plethora of museums and sites for exploring.

Our spectacular 18th century building was refurbished to maintain its authentic character with original Portuguese tiles throughout. The antique decor was chosen to highlight the rustic nature of the building and its unique history and ambience.
The choice of new beds, pillows, linens, power plugs (3 per bed), private reading lights, plenty of bathrooms and showers, were all made to provide maximum comfort and well-being for our guests. Each have lockers for international size travel bags (bring a lock or buy one in the machine).
Some of the dorm rooms have their own bathroom and shower inside. Women can choose to stay in their own wing and just for fun sleep in a bunk bed painted punky pink! On the top floor there are doubles, a few have an amazing view of the city and the river.

Inside the hostel we have several options for having fun or just hanging around to relax. Who said children should get to have all the fun? Imagine a therapeutic plunge in our “pool” filled with soft plastic balls? Adults highly encouraged! For addicts we have games like foosball tables and Playstaytion. If you are more in the mood to relax, you can spend time soaking in the sun on the lounge terrace with outdoor showers or enjoy an artisinal cocktail at the bar. Our fireplace will warm your sore feet on a cool night after touring all day. The bar is open to the public providing a chance to mix and mingle with guests, other travelers and locals.

At Hub New Lisbon Hostel you will feel like a "alfacinha", a true Lisbon native!
