Pakistan Red Crescent Society is a humanitarian organization, dedicated to improving lives of vulnerable segments of the society. The core areas of the work, in line with the overall strategy of PRCS, are Disaster Management, Health Care and promotion of Humanitarian Values supported by an ongoing process of Organizational Development. The Society in its working draws inspiration from the seven fundamental principles of the 'Movement', namely: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality.PRCS branches offer verity of programs which include Disaster Preparedness & Response, Emergency Ambulance Service, Mother & Child health care, First-Aid training, Awareness /Prevention against HIV/AIDS, Blood Donor Centers and Promotion of Volunteerism.
