Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade na Hungria

Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade (A.I.A.M.) is a non-profit association, which specializes in European Internships Programs, promotes, organizes and supports international mobility programs, international meetings on topics of mutual interest, multiculturality and interculturality.
We are based in Braga District, northern Portugal, very close to the Atlantic Ocean. In Portugal, we can organize mobilities in Braga, Barcelos, Esposende Beach, Praia da Rocha (Algarve) and Funchal (Madeira Island).
A.I.A.M. aims at being a cohesive and dynamic space, creating educational, cultural, social and recreational projects which promote its mission, values and goals.
The projects and mobilities promoted by the Association are destined to every citizen, and can take place on a local, national and international level, due to partnerships and networks with other public and private organizations. Any citizen, regardless of age, gender, occupation, race and nationality can become participant of mobilities that A.I.A.M organizes.
Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade works as host and a receiving organization and intends to offer to the participants of other countries the chance to have vocational orientation and/or labor experience to improve the capacities, to acquire know-making to be initiated in a professional career and to achieve success.
Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade is an open door to new projects, where citizens and communities can realize their ideas and their dreams.
During 2012, Intercultural Association Mobility Friends received 263 participants, during 2013 we received 808 participants, during 2014 we received 747 participants and in 2015 we hosted more than 2000 participants from many different countries such as Spain, France, England, Italy, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Ireland, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Finland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Macedonia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Uruguay, United States of America, Russia, Morocco and Egypt.
What are the activities and experience of the organization in the areas relevant for this application?


Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade has been working in European Internships programs since May 2012, as host and intermediate partner.
With more than 3 years of experience and more than 5000 participants hosted in Portugal, the Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade is the largest hosting organisation for European Projects in Portugal.
Our staff has many years of working experience, providing preparatory visits, job shadowing, work visits, training courses, language courses, study visits, cultural visits, tours, meetings, round tables, workshops, business and professional contacts and work placements in many private and public organizations, for participants from many different countries.
The project “Visual merchandiser-skills for the past or for the future? - LDV-MOB 8/13 (IVT)”, from School centre Srečko Kosovel Sežana (Slovenia), who had Intercultural Association Mobility Friends as partner, was recognized as "The example of best practices" by Slovenian National Agency.
The projects “To Have Practical Training About Nursing In The European Union Countries - 2013-1-TR-LEO01-48952”, from Kars Faik Fikriye Torunoğulları Anadolu Sağlık Meslek Lisesi (Turkey) and “Bolgesel Politika Gelistirmek için Mesleki Egitimde Kalite Standardı Olusturma Projesi - 2013-1-TR-LEO03-49571”, from Yalova Valiligi (Turkey), that had our partners Junta de Freguesia de Arcozelo (Barcelos) and Clinoba - Clinica Nova de Barcelos as partners, were recognized as good examples of cooperation between portuguese and turkish organizations, by Turkish National Agency.
Our activities are backed up by the active participation of an international network of instituitions, working in collaboration with many European Organizations, City Halls, Schools, Training Centers, Universities and Enterprises.
As sending partner, Associação Intercultural Amigos da Mobilidade participated with 62 participants in following projects approved during 2014:
