A Magical Orchard

Securing the land for all future generations….This Beautiful Abundant and magical Garden has been a working Orchard providing families food for well over a hundred years, With a Huge and magestic (black) fig tree. 5 orange trees that produce sweet and lush fruit,and 2 zesty lemon trees,a tangerine tree,a plum tree,a almond tree that produces delicious nuts,a few quince trees and many grape vines of differing varieties of fruit border the land,veg beds are always being planned and added too, n herbs grow good here too,take a wander through the magic and discover delights to the eyes and ears in the garden.The magical orchard boasts two Large wells one of them spring fed providing endless sweet water all year around.
A river when the brief rains come,and starry skies at night (no light pollution),we even have secret lake ten minutes walk into nature from the project...
Sunshine bursts in abundance most days,and around this area of Portugal here its the shortest winter in Europe.


This land is situated in the national Park which in turn is situated in the foothills around the sw tip of Portugal, with so many beautiful quiet and clean beaches only 5-10 km away.
The aim here is for us to be self sufficient as far as possible, ecological, GM free, organic, and operating within the permaculture precepts. Using solar water and electric whenever possible and reducing our carbon footprint where ever possible.
Were learning new technologies for self sufficiency every day.
We provide like minded souls a safe and healing space,that could be used for basic retreats, workshop ideas are welcomed,we would love to learn and share knowledge education and being the change we wish to see in the World.

We have a funky and querky 1968 mercedes bus that has been converted to a mobile home complete with a double bed at the front,two singles in the back and fitted kichen complete with a huge outside space/living area(outdoor living is the best in this climate)
On a completely separate level in its own space there is a Yurt with a double mattress with a nice veranda outside offering guests accommodation.
The project has been under funded and low on manpower for some time now and due to health reasons the land hasn't had the attention it needs over recent months so a call out for any ideas on how to manifest the umph we need.
The time has come for changes. And also for moving the project on to the next level.
We welcome creativity and ideas.
Were wishing to create a partnership/ or co-operative between a few of us,and it is the intention and mission that this land will never be Sold.
This magical orchard will be forevermore held in trust by like minded souls that share the co-operatives beliefs and expand these ideals through collective knowledge and education for us our family our friends ours and their children and grandchildren.

2. To find a sitting or financial tenant who will share the care and nurture this wonderful magical space.

3. To encourage people to donate cash so that we can plant many more fruit trees here on the land, and then become friends of the Magical Orchard Project.
