My name is Daria, and I am a music teacher, music therapist and sound masseuse.

I was born and raised in Germany. I always had the dream to move to the ocean one day. When I first visited Arrifana, I fell in love with this place. So, it didn’t take me long to decide to move here, because this fantastic, peaceful spot gives me all I really need: the sea, surf, breathtakingly beautiful nature and relaxation.

For several years I have been very committed to the topics of relaxation and healthy lifestyle. In connection with the desire to do something good for other people with music and to help them becoming more balanced, I came across singing bowls. The various effects of singing bowls on the body, mind and soul have fascinated me so much that I’ve decided to integrate them into my therapeutic practice.
At the moment I live and work in Vale da Telha at the Algarve, offering sound massage and sound meditation in private and group settings.


SOUND MASSAGE
Sound massage is a special kind of massage, where different singing bowls are placed on the clothed body and struck gently.
While the harmonic sounds calm your mind, subtle vibrations pass through your whole body. Each cell is reached and gently massaged, releasing tension and awakening new energies. A state of deep relaxation and physical sense of well-being begins.

Sound massage is a soothing and relaxing therapy that can help in all areas of our being including:

- deep relaxation
- release of tension and blockades
- activating self-regulating forces
- increasing self-esteem and creativity

Sound massage is perfect for relaxation after a surf session or to complement a relaxing holiday at the beach.


SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT

Sound massages usually last about one hour including preliminary and post talk consultation.

I am happy to offer the sound massage at your accomodation, so you can enjoy this intensive relaxation in your own comfortable surroundings!



SOUND MEDITATION
Let the soothing sounds of the singing bowls put you in a relaxed state beyond space and time.
The long-lasting and often touching sounds of singing bowls are excellent to calm emotions and to support and strengthen meditations. The mind rests and shuts down conscious thought. Pulse and blood pressure drop whilst body, mind and spirit are brought back into balance. Tension blockages are relieved and gently dissipate as energies flow more freely.
Once we are in harmony with ourselves and our environment we feel happier, healthier, more efficient and ready to admit something new into our lives.

Locations and times for the Sunset Meditation each Sunday will be posted regularly on my Facebook page.

Private Sound Meditations are bookable for groups of at least four persons at any time. Call or message me for information or bookings.
