Casinha d'Avó

A Casinha d'Avó is located in a small village 15 minutes from the city of Viana do Castelo. The house belonged to my grandmother who always gave much importance to traditions and agriculture. The Nanny's House has always been a haven of warmth, good humor and good food (there's nothing better than grandma's food). She taught us all the secrets, all the cooking recipes and more important she taught us that we should share our best things. So we think the best way to remember her, was showing what she taught us. So in Nanny's House we intend to show the secrets of a Portuguese grandmother. We intend to show the production of those jams that make us wanting more, the warm bread coming out of the traditional oven and the sausages spreading his scent throughout the house. In Nanny's House we want to provide experiences, real experiences of traditional northern Portugal.
