We started the tuk tuk tour in the beautiful Praça do Comercio, along the Tagus river, with a very cheerful tour guide called Peter, who showed us the details of the Cathedral of Lisbon, and then showed us three drives Viewpoints on the São Jorge Castle and over the whole city of Lisbon, one of Viewpoints, told us to be the place where a King planned the conquest of Lisbon, and thus founded the country Portugal from that date. We visited places inside and outside the castle walls Conquered, Cathedrals and Churches Magicas (National Pantheon and Monastery of São Vicente de Fora) a popular show (flea market) with many sellers of old and vintege pieces scattered on the floor.
Finally, the birthplace of the city, Alfama, a very narrow streets and neighborhood and especially we hear a song called Fado was born in this famous neighborhood of Alfama, the century 16-17.
Fado which was awarded with "Intangible Heritage of Humanity." Assigned by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) sung and played by a single guitar in the world. Pedro told us in a world of curiosities and secrets of this wonderful and welcoming city and people.
We parted with so much joy, and we agreed to see other magical places, such as, for example, where the boats set out for the discoveries by the ocean, the world that this Adventurer people defied the sea, in Galileo's time.
