The food at Golden Chinar Restaurant is cooked in large nickel-plated copper vessels over wood fire and served in large copper plates known as "Tramis" by Kashmiri chefs called "Wazas". This style of cooking requires great expertise and finesse on part of the Chefs, meat dishes are cooked with utmost precision with a blend of local herbs and spices. It takes a Chef years of meticulous training and dedication to master the technique of cooking traditional Wazwaan .
