Facilities to Students
Academic scholarships to needy students, scholarships on sports basis and other scholarships both for male and female students are awarded through a compact financial aid programme on semester basis. Pick and drop facility is also provided to the day scholars. Facility of study tours, intra and inter provincial tours are also available for students. Hostel facility is available for female students. University Medical officer is available round the clock for students.

Co-Curricular & Sports Activities of Students
Different literary clubs and University Students Magazine harbour the intellectual talent of student. Debates, singing competitions, drama festivals and poetry competitions not only provide our students a chance to polish their qualities but to compete with others. The campus life is full of student’s activity and our student body remain instrumental to answer national needs at the time of flood relief activities, earth quake relief activities, activities for internally displaced persons and social welfare. Lush green tennis lawn, Hocky ground, athletic track and cricket ground are the hub of sports activities for students.

Seminars / Conferences
Government College University offers national and international conferences and seminars to young learners. International Zoological Conference, International Seerat Conference, International Chemistry Conference, International Urdu Conference, National Exhibition of Art and Design, IEEE International Techfair, book fairs and programmes under UNDP bear a testimony to the fact.

GCUF FM Radio Station, wireless and wired internet facility, easy access to digital libraries, facility of video conferencing has linked GCUF community with the international community in a compact manner.
