Human and Enterprise Development Institute HEDI is a private Institute which has been formed recently by a group of young professionals in Gilgit-Baltistan.
This initiative is a timely call in response to the emerging needs of individuals, organizations and enterprises in terms of quality services in skill enhancement, human, institutional and enterprise development. Formal and informal sessions with professionals both in public and private sector revealed that there is dearth of professional and technical excerpts hence the need to take affirmative actions. Two important areas were identified which needed serious attention. Firstly, the dire need of quality services at various levels in the government, corporate and private sectors and secondly need of capacity building in many technical and professional areas which could ultimately strengthen individuals as well as institutions in different sectors. Keeping these two areas in mind, the Human and Enterprise Development Institute is being established as a response to emerging demands of our society.
