Mikki's place to stay

Het spreekwoord “ het bloed kruipt waar het niet gaan kan “ is zeker voor deze ondernemers van toepassing.
Arno is geboren op een camping in Zeist en is tot zijn 35e jaar bedrijfsleider van deze camping geweest .
Mikki is kunstenares in hart en nieren. Zij kreeg haar opleiding in verschillende kunstafdelingen in België. Na succesvolle activiteiten aldaar, is Mikki sinds 2008 actief in Portugal. In haar atelier maakt zij keramiek ,schilderijen en sculpturen.

De ervaring van beide ondernemers heeft geleid tot het idee van “Mikki’s Place to Stay” een landbouw toeristische activiteit waarin een Motorhome – Verblijfplaats wordt geintergreerd in de tuin van de kunstenares.Een tuin waarin fruit en kruiden worden verbouwd en waarvan de opbrengst wordt verwerkt in commerciele producten zoals jams, thee, gedroogd fruit ..... Een tuin die de moeite is om te bezoeken, een tuin als voorbeeld wat de natuur ons te bieden heeft.

“Place to Stay” is tot stand gekomen enerzijds door de historiek van de ondernemers, de interesse in ,,back to nature,, en anderzijds door het gebrek aan Motorhome – Verblijfplaatsen in een rustieke omgevingin de Algarve.
Arno en Mikki hebben van een ruw en onbewerkt terrein vol plastiek, een oase gemaakt. Het terrein is smaakvol en alle voorzieningen zijn kunstig en kleurrijk tot stand gekomen.

“ Place to Stay” biedt allerhande creatieve workshops in het gebruik van kruiden, koken met fruit, keramiek, glasfusion en schildercursusen.....
In het gezellig theehuis met bar, kan U alle dagen van een lunch genieten, gemaakt van alleen maar verse lokale producten. Drie maal per week kookt Arno een diner alles inclusief voor een fantastisch goede prijs. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd met verse broodjes aan de spotprijs van 2,5 € met koffie en thee zo veel je wilt.
Ook de broodjes, gebakken in eigen steenoven kunnen dagelijks worden aangekocht.

Op korte termijn wil “ Place to Stay” als hoofd activiteit een Motorhome Verblijf- en
Serviceplaats zijn , groeiend volgens het ritme van de vraag met een breed internationaal klanten bestand.

The saying "blood is thicker than water" is definitely aplyable for these entrepreneurs.
Arno was born in Zeist and was until his 35th year manager of the campsite from his parents.
Mikki is an artist at heart. She received her training in various art skills in Belgium. Following successful activities there, Mikki is active since 2008 in Portugal. In her studio she makes ceramics, paintings and sculptures.

The experience of both businesses has led to the idea of "Mikki's Place to Stay" an agricultural tourism activity in which a Motorhome - Residence is integrated in the garden of the artist. A garden where vegetables and herbs are grown and whose output is processed in commercial products such as jams, tea, dried fruit ..... A garden that is worth to visit, a garden as an example what nature has to offer.

"Place to Stay" came about partly due to the history of the entrepreneurs, the interest in ,, back to nature ,, and by the lack of Motorhome - Places in a rustic location in the Algarve.
Arno and Mikki have made from a rough and rough terrain full of plastic, an oasis. The site is tasteful and all amenities are artful and colorful.

"Place to Stay" offers all kinds of creative workshops in the use of herbs, cooking with fruit, ceramics, glass fusion and painting.....
In the cozy tearoom with bar, where you can enjoy every day lunch, made from only fresh local products. Three times a week Arno cooks dinner in a all inclusive formule for and this for a fantastic good price. Breakfast is served with fresh bread at the bargain price of € 2,5 with coffee and tea as much as you want.
The rolls, baked in our own stone oven can be purchased daily.

In the short term, "Place to Stay" the best Motorhome Accommodation area and is growing at the rate of demand with a broad international customer base.
