FAST( Foundation for Advancement of Science and Technolgy ) had its sponsoring body established in 1980 and it is a cheritable instituion which is registered with the Governmnet of Paksiatan. It decided to provide higher education to produce scholars and scientists with preeminence in 1985. FAST was the first in the history of the country to offer undergraduate program in Computer Science that was a real milestone in the country’s IT industry development. This university, sponsored by FAST, is considered as one of the most prestigious academic institutes of Pakistan with a trend of being a leader and a paragon, both in Pakistan and abroad.
The National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, which was founded as a Federally Chartered University, is a top-ranking and nonpareil University of Pakistan, and is popular for producing students who are well-known for their expertise and hard work in the development of local software and other industries. The university has four innovative purpose-built campuses at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar with the state-of-the-art facilities. These campuses provide high-standard educational environment and recreational facilities to over 4,000 under-graduate and graduate students.
