Porto Santo Golfe

O Campo de Golfe do Porto Santo com 18 buracos foi desenhado por Severiano Ballesteros no seu já habitual formato de 6 par 3, 6 par 4 e 6 par 5, conferindo ao percurso um
Par 72.

O campo inclui ainda um percurso de 9 buracos par 3 com todas as saídas e chegadas junto ao ClubHouse.

Porto Santo Golfe is a 27-hole golf club on the scenic island of Porto Santo in Madeira, Portugal. It opened on 1 October 2004 and was designed by the Spanish 5-time major winner, Seve Ballesteros.

The 7,041 yard, par 72 layout features spectacular views, particularly on the back nine, as holes 13, 14 and 15 run alongside the rugged coastline. The signature hole is the par 3 13th, which measures 200 yards and requires a shot over a gorge to reach the cliff-top green.

In addition to the full length course, there is a nine-hole pitch and putt. There are also tennis facilities and a horse riding centre on-site.

Porto Santo Golfe hosts the Madeira Islands Open on the European Tour. Changes made to the course for the tournament include a new back tee for the 14th and the shortening of the par 5 3rd, so that it plays as a par 4. The course therefore plays as a 6,983 yard par 71 as opposed to the standard par 72 layout
