Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes exclusively from our Quinta da Tapada Nova Estate, near the village of Louriçal do Campo, in the Beira Interior Region of Portugal. The olive orchard is situated on the south facing slopes of the foothills of the Serra da Gardunha mountain range where the granite soils help to give the oil its balanced taste and aroma and the excellent quality of a true gourmet olive oil.
We have learnt how to choose the perfect moment to harvest the olives and thanks to modern technical processes can mill and extract the oil within 24 hours of harvest to produce an exquisite olive oil, fresh and fruity, with a very low acidity, of aproximately 0.1 %.
