Presente em várias áreas de negócios, esta família, que já era proprietária de várias vinhas em redor da pequena Vila da Lixa, decide criar em 1986 um pequeno negócio que se tornaria no que é agora a Quinta da Lixa - Sociedade Agrícola, Lda. Os resultados estão presentes sob a forma de uma produção superior a 4 Milhões de garrafas por ano com a venda de 52% dessa produção para 34 mercados externos, correspondendo a uma faturação superior a 5,5 Milhões de Euros por ano.
Nos últimos 5 anos foram investidos mais de 6 Milhões de Euros em novas propriedades para aumentar a capacidade da Adega, numa nova linha de engarrafamento com capacidade de 9 mil garrafas/hora e no primeiro Hotel Vínico da Região dos Vinhos Verdes, o Monverde - Wine Experience Hotel.
