Due to its elevated position, Quinta dos Caracóis has beautiful views overlooking both the Bay of Lagos and Praia da Luz. It is built in traditional style, consisting in, one bedroom apartments and two bedroom villas.
One bedroom apartments are furnished to a high standard, have modern fitted kitchenettes with electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and are open-plan to a dining area, which has access through double glazed patio doors to a terrace. Lounge areas are well furnished and incorporate satellite TV, CD/radio cassette player. Two bedroom villas are furnished to a high standard, have modern fitted kitchens with electric hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and are open-plan to a spacious dinning area, which has access through double glazed patio doors to a private terrace. Lounge areas are well furnished and incorporate satellite TV, CD/radio cassette player and an open fireplace, in which a “real” log fire can be enjoyed during the cooler months. Double glazed patio doors slide open giving access to the private terrace equipped with outside dining furniture, which all enjoy views over the pool area and most enjoying views towards the bays of Lagos and Praia da Luz.
This is a great choice for anyone not wishing to be reliant on a car - there is a bus stop just 300m from Caracóis with regular, inexpensive, services to nearby Lagos and Praia da Luz. Both these resorts are great for children - Praia da Luz has a safe, sandy beach banked by reasonably prices restaurants and bars.
Quinta dos Caracóis is also very close (500m) to the Boa Vista Golf Course.
