www.neptuno.pt - An environmental education company based in Setúbal, 30 minutes south of Lisbon, provides scuba trips & training, as well as nature walks, birdwitching outings, underwater kiddie birthday parties (!) and, of course, the very first Shark Diving operation in mainland Portugal.

www.apece.pt - The Portuguese Shark Association, founded in 1997. The founder of the APECE is also a Neptuno partner. The APECE has been promoting research on sharks and rays, in Portugal, providing funds and delivering hundreds of lectures on shark biology and conservation since then. The APECE played a key role in the ban of finning from European waters, by working closely with Shark Alliance and other NGOs.
