Shri Raghunath Bishnoi Memorial College, Raniwara

Shri Raghunath Bishnoi (SRB) Memorial College is an initiative of Shri Raghunath Bishnoi Seva Samiti to provide accessible and quality tertiary education to rural students near the Raniwara Village in the Jalore District of Rajasthan State. The College is located in the Raniwara village in sprawling green campus and is fully recognized by the government of India. It is affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.

SRB (Shri Raghunath Bishnoi) Seva Samiti is a non-profit trust that aims to improve access to quality education, healthcare and farming practices in rural Rajasthan (India). The inspiration behind the Trust is the Life of Late Shri Raghunath Bishnoi.
Shri Raghunath Bishnoi was Member of Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan State from 1962-1980 and Health Minister of Rajasthan from 1985-1989. He was an exemplary statesman who made trem endous contribution for the development of Rajasthan State, particularly in the field of education, healthcare and farming.

The Shri Raghunath Bishnoi Seva Samiti is Committed to continuing his life’s work with his spirit of excellence, hard-work, unwavering honesty and great dedication to improving lives of people in rural Rajasthan.

The idea of Shri Raghunath Bishnoi Memorial College was conceptualized in December 2005 and through the efforts of Management Team that idea became an operational 60 seat college offering 3 year degree course in 2007. Today Shri Raghunath Bishnoi Memorial College is a 460 (B.A.) + 60 (B.C.A.) seat college which offers 2 degree courses and numerous scholarships.

Currently the college has three lecture halls, six study rooms, a large collection of books in book-bank and a fully equipped computer lab; expansion plans are underway to build eleven new lecture halls and sports field.
