Ali ganhou forma e fama a “Real e Imperial Chapelaria a Vapor”, que tantas cabeças do século XIX embelezou. Ali se descobriram também, a partir de 1927, os talentos de muitos jovens, que fizeram deste local a consagrada Escola Artística Soares dos Reis.
Agora, as Artes que se cruzam nos corredores do edifício são outras, mas fazem-se do mesmo entusiasmo e assentam na mesma necessidade de criar e no mesmo gosto pela beleza.
Agora, no nº 49 da Rua Firmeza, ensinam-se artes de bem receber, e abrem-se as portas a quem quer ser bem recebido.

Creativity and aesthetics have been in the air for many years at Rua Firmeza no. 49.
There, the “Royal and Imperial Steam Hatmaker” took form and grew in fame as it adorned many heads in the 19th century. It was also there that, starting in 1927, the talents of many youth were discovered, turning this location into the esteemed Soares dos Reis Artistic School.
Now, the Arts that cross paths in the halls of the building are different, but they all arise from the same enthusiasm, based on the same need to create, and the same taste for beauty.
Now, at no. 49 Rua Firmeza, the art of hospitality is taught and the doors are open to those who want to be welcomed.
