The villa is only 40 minutes from Faro Airport and 15 mins from Tavira. Built in 2004 as a private family home. Set in its own beautiful secure grounds within 200 individually designed Portuguese homes and villas. All overlooking wonderful rolling natural fields which in Spring are covered with wild flowers. The sea and the fabulous long sandy beach is also only a short distance away.

No. 93, is a bright spacious 3+ bedroomed, well equipped house. Sleeping 10+ with 2 full bath/shower rooms and 1 shower room. Air conditioning and fly screens also throughout.

* Castro Marim - 7 mins. Old Roman with Moorish influence small market town. Including, supermarkets, pubs, cafes and good restaurants. Great festivals and events held at the Castle. Famous bird watching area along the salt marshes as far as Vila Real.

* Villa Real – 15 mins. Port on the Guadiana River. Old town centre with modern suburbs. Large supermarkets, regular markets and good restaurants overlooking the river.

* Altura – 7 mins. Good Paper shops, Free local Internet cafe, all local shops, restaurants and hotels. Good beach access, with lovely beach restaurants.

* Cacela Vehla– Old Moorish town with super views over the Ria. Lovely restaurants.

* Tavira – 15 mins. Good sized, wonderfully atmospheric Roman Town on the Ria Formosa wildlife Nature Park. Any amount of heritage. Shopping, Restaurants, cafes, markets, music events, Art, etc. Also super bird watching on the Salt marshes and Ria Formosa including big numbers of Flamingos, Stilts and Godwits.

Spanish border - 10 mins.
Ayamonte – 15 to 20 mins. Lovely old Town on the Guadiana River, on the opposite bank to Villa Real. Fabulous shops and restaurants and tapas bars.
Sevilla – 1.5 hours. Architecturally beautiful city. Very good shopping, restaurants etc. Wonderful at Easter ! So spiritual....

Portugal – Directions to 93, Quinta do Sobral, 8950 Castro Marim, from Faro Airport.
*Faro Airport.*
Keep on the right hand side of road !
Turn left out of car park.
Roundabout – turn right ( first exit)
Miss sign for Faro – Turn Right for Espanha / Olhao and motorway E1 / A22 ( about 1 mile)
Go through a few traffic lights – keeping in left lane following signs for Espanha and Olhao.
Turn right onto motorway E1 for Espanha.
Exit 17 – 30 minutes or so turn right for Monte Gordo / Altura.
Roundabout take 3rd exit left on the EN 125 to Villa Real de St Antonio.
Turn Left after 100 m or so to San Bartolomeu.
Over the rail tracks.
Next left into Quinta do Sobral.
6th Exit - turn right – 2nd house on left.
Pull door to turn key.
