Villa Pedreiro

Villa Pedreiro is set amongst beautiful countryside on the outskirts of a traditional Portuguese village in central Portugal, between Tomar and Ferreira do Zêzere and near the Castelo de Bode Lake.

Our newly refurbished villa offers guests very flexible, clean and comfortable accommodation. Set within its own vineyard and orchard with magnificent views across the forest and mountains. It has a large patio area surrounding the private swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings and nature. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with BBQ.

The villa is for sole occupancy and the patio and swimming pool area are exclusively for guests. However should you have any questions or require any help during your stay you will be able to speak to us as we reside as we reside on the property in a detached annex adjacent to the villa.

The property has very flexible accommodation as outlined below. Bedroom access and layout will be determined by group size and any special requirements. We will contact you to discuss your preferred sleeping arrangements once we have a confirmed booking.

Bedroom 1 (purple room) is a flexible room that can accommodate 2 people. It has the option to have 2 single beds or 1 superking size bed.

Bedroom 2 (blue room) with ensuite bathroom, is a family room that can accommodate up to 4 people plus a baby. It has 1 double bed and 2 single beds and can accommodate a cot if required.

Bedroom 3 (red room) is a flexible room that can accommodate up to 4 people. It has the option to have 4 single beds or it can be arranged as a family room with 1 superking bed and 2 single beds.

Main bathroom has a bath with shower, sink, toilet, bidet and swimming pool towel storage.

Lounge, Kitchen, Dinner is an open plan space to maximise the entertainment area. The rattan furniture can be arranged as desired and can also be taken outside for use by the poolside. There is also a TV/DVD player, games and books for your entertainment.

The kitchen has a gas hob with electric fan oven, a microwave, toaster, kettle, a fridge and a freezer plus all the utensils and extras you would expect to find in a functional kitchen.

Bath and hand towels are provided for each guest plus towels for the poolside. There is also one hairdryer provided in each bedroom.

There are woodland and mountain tracks on the doorstep for walks, with stunning lake views. We are only a short drive from the Knights Templar tourist attractions in medieval town of Tomar. You can enjoy water sports, boat trips and river beaches at the lake/rivers nearby plus the coastal surfing beach of Nazare is just over an hours drive away. We are located within an hours drive of Coimbra, Fatima, Batalha, Obidos and the central point of Portugal. Lisbon is an hour and a half by car and Porto is a 2 hour drive if you fancy spending some time in the cities. So should you want to go exploring there is plenty to do and see during your stay with us.

You will be staying in a reputable, legally registered and recognized rental. Villa Pedreiro is a licensed local lodging villa, fully registered at Turismo de Portugal, under the number 43880/AL and supervised by the local authorities and Camara Municipal de Tomar. This accreditation can be checked any time at Turismo de Portugal database.
