Visit Alentejo

The Alentejo is located in the south of Portugal, between the river Tejo and the Algarve Region. To the east it boarders with Spain and to the west with the Atlantic Ocean. It is a vast region, essentially rural and scarcely populated, which takes up about a third of the national territory. The beauty of the landscape and the quality of its archaeological, monument, architectonic and ethnographic patrimony, combined with the excellent quality of its food and wine, give it exceptional conditions for travels that associate nature tourism with cultural tourism.
